Informed by the Islamic architecture and Iranian tapestry, Garden of Forms revisitis geometrical and organic shapes to create a symbolic reference of home exploring the memory of places and sites Anahita grew up in. The rigidity of geometry and the architectural landscape respond to a particular society, culture and history while the organic forms of flowers and plants become a natural vehicle for the viewer to connect with nature and earth. Through a lens of nostalgia and memories, the selected works reference a specific land and destination in time and history.
